There is are many differences between dry carpet cleaning and hot water or steam cleaning as it is sometimes referred too. Dry carpet cleaning use a process called encapsulation where as the dirt gets trapped in compound and then is extracted using a vacuum. Hot water or steam cleaning uses an oxidation in which the carpet fibers are opened up with the use of heat to allow the oxygen molecules to enter into the fiber. Thus giving an illusion that the carpet has been cleaned.
There is a lot that goes into our Dry Connection Carpet Cleaning process and we want you to know just what makes Dry Connection Carpet Cleaning different from the rest.
It’s important for you to know that the environmentally safe HOST® Dry Carpet Cleaning compound contains a balanced blend of water, detergents, wetting agents and natural ingredients. As the low moisture HOST® Cleaner is brushed through the carpet, the absorbent particles deep clean by dissolving, trapping and removing spots, spills, and greasy, oily dirt. Like a sponge in a kitchen, HOST® Dry Carpet Cleaning compound holds and controls the cleaning liquids so dissolved dirt doesn’t run into the carpet backing. After vacuuming up the HOST® Cleaner, carpet is clean, dry and back in service for your family. HOST® is natural, non-toxic, biodegradable and safe for people and pets.
The extraordinary HOST® scrubbing machines use millions of micro-sponges moistened with environmentally safe cleaners coupled with a vigorous deep brushing action. We brush these micro-sponges through the carpet fibers; efficiently absorbing soil and stains from the carpet yarn into the sponges then vacuum away both soil and micro-sponge powder. Your carpet is bright, fluffy, fresh smelling and ready to walk on immediately. Your carpet pad never gets wet so your carpet will last longer.
When we use our dry cleaning process on your carpet, it will re-soil at the same rate as a new carpet which is contrary to the results of traditional methods of carpet cleaning. Wet cleaning methods wash dirt and soap down through the backing into the pad where it cannot be recovered. As your carpet dries over several days, the soapy, dirty water wicks up to the surface leaving a sticky residue. As you walk on your carpet additional soil sticks to it and your rug can end up looking dirtier than it did before it was cleaned. Spots can reappear in as little as 3 days. Pads can remain wet up to 7 days creating ideal conditions for mold growth. (Some mold spores are toxic; small children are at particular risk). Other so called carpet dry cleaning systems clean surface soil with buffing machines, but, like steam carpet cleaning, it also push dirt and soap into the pad. Dry carpet cleaning eliminates all of these problems. We choosing a carpet cleaner it is important to know what kind of process.
Advanced Formula HOST® Sponges are a soft, natural product moistened with water, detergent and a small amount of safe-to-use solvent. All of which makes Advanced Formula HOST® sponges an environmentally friendly product.
